data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The IRBA has two accredited professional bodies, namely, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). An applicant, therefore, must be a member of either of these professional bodies. Prospective registered candidate auditors (RCAs) must submit their applications by completing and signing the printable\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.irbalearning.co.za\/upload\/Form%205%20-%20ADP%20Registration%20Form%20with%20effect%20from%201%20April%202024.docx\">Form 5<\/a>\u00a0and also ensure that their oversight registered auditor (ORA) signs the form before emailing it back to us.<\/p>\nApplications from SAICA members must include the following:\n<ul>\n \t<li>An ID copy;<\/li>\n \t<li>Confirmation of ITC and APC results;<\/li>\n \t<li>A copy of the SAICA training contract discharge certificate and, where applicable, a SAICA membership certificate; and<\/li>\n \t<li>A police clearance certificate (from a service provider or SAPS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWith regard to ACCA, its Professional Development Programme (PDP) enables its current and future members to obtain the required practical experience for its South Africa Audit Qualification (SA AQ). The PDP consists of a set of requirements that must be met to be eligible for the SA AQ and those include:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Confirmation that you have achieved the minimum required performance objectives, as part of ACCA\u2019s Practical Experience Requirement;<\/li>\n \t<li>Proof that you have completed 36 months of experience in an accounting or finance-related role(s), which must be verified by a suitably qualified training officer;<\/li>\n \t<li>Demonstratable evidence that you have achieved the required nine audit competences and completed the competence-based submission;<\/li>\n \t<li>An ID copy; and<\/li>\n \t<li>A police clearance certificate (from a service provider or SAPS),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each application or completed form, with all the abovementioned documentation, must be emailed back to us at\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:adpadmin@irba.co.za\">adpadmin@irba.co.za<\/a>.<br><br>\nAll applicants should note that there is a fee exemption in place, meaning there is no registration fee payable currently, any new costs will be communicated to all the stakeholders in time.<br><br>\n\nIt normally takes between five and seven days to process an application form, from the day of receipt.
