This follows on as part of its restoring confidence strategy, which it ran from 2018, during which it completed several projects to bring about reform in the profession. When it developed its refocused five-year strategy for 2021 to 2026, it named comprehensive stakeholder engagement that is open and transparent, intended to rebuild trust, as one of its strategic initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Says IRBA CEO, Imre Nagy: \u201cOver the past few months, we have been on a brand renewal journey internally, to examine what the audit regulator brand should portray. Based on focus group research, it became evident that our IRBA and registered auditor (RA) brands needed to be updated to be representative of the organisation we wish to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur focus with this brand project is around the clarion call of integrity, public interest, and audit quality. Revitalising our brand through this brand journey has helped us to pause and reflect on how we go about building trust through our marketing on our public channels.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new logo was revealed on Monday, September 26. This signals a new era for the IRBA and the RA brands, in line with the regulator\u2019s new vision for the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ends<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>More about the IRBA:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The IRBA is a public protection statutory body established to protect the financial interests of the public by ensuring registered auditors and their firms deliver services of the highest quality. It upholds audit firm independence to ensure that audit quality is such that it enhances the accuracy and credibility of financial performance reporting.
